Mindfulness is all the buzz right now. it is being claimed to heal every ailment, relational dynamic, work place environment, and even the relationships you have with your family of origin. But what exactly is mindfulness and how does it conduct such miracles? In this two hour workshop you will be introduced to the roots of mindfulness in addition to exploring how and why meditation practices offers such profound healing from the lenses of interpersonal neurobiology, acceptance and commitment therapy, buddhist philosophy, and somatic psychology.
